This is a 4 part Video Tutorial series that walks you through the installation and configuration of the Cisco Nexus 1000v Virtual Switch with VMware vSphere 5.1

Cisco Nexus 1000v Part 1 – OVF install and the installation wizard
In Part 1 we look at install a Primary Cisco Nexus 1000v Virtual Switch into VMware vSphere 5.1. We deploy the OVF image and run through the install wizard.
Cisco Nexus 1000v Part 2 – Physical and Virtual Port Profiles
In part 2 we look at creating both a Physical and Virtual Port Profile via the CLI.
Cisco Nexus 1000v Part 3 – VMware Host Physical NIC Migration along with Port Group Migration
In part 3 we migrate our physical VMware hosts network interface cards over to our Cisco Nexus 1000v Physical Port Profile. Lastly we migrate our VMKernel Ports and Port Groups.
Cisco Nexus 1000v Part 4 – Install a Secondary Redundant Nexus 1000v Switch
In the final part to this video tutorial series, we run through installing a secondary Cisco Nexus 1000v Virtual Switch for high availability and redundancy.
