Veeam Backup and Replication V10 was recently released and I was keen to get this deployed in the lab and check out some of the new features this awesome product has to offer.
In this article I’m going to walk you through the steps I used to upgrade my NetApp Simulator from ONTAP 9.6 to the new ONTAP 9.7 RC1
If you have been following my Ansible demonstrations, you will see that authenticating to my NetApp simulator I had the username and password embedded into the variables.yml file. Like this:
We then have our source cluster name. As this is an LS-Mirror the source and destination cluster name will be the same.
This first part checks to see if the DataOntap PowerShell module is loaded. If it isn’t, then it will load the module

Today has been the release of NetApp Ontap 9.6 RC2 and what better way to get familiar with it than to run it up in the lab as a simulator.
