Veeam Backup and Replication with Netapp
In this video tutorial series we look at how easy it is to setup Veeam Backup and Repliction to work with a Netapp storage system. In part 1 we demonstrate adding the Netapp cluster to Veeam Backup and Replication, followed by creating a backup job to backup an entire virtual machine.
The backup job triggers takes a consistent backup of the virtual machine and snapshots the Netapp volume where the virtual machine resides, in this case an NFS volume.
In part 2 we delete our source virtual machine, and use Veeam Backup and Replication to restore the entire virtual machine back into our VMware vCenter Server.
I will post updates to this page in the next few weeks as I will be creating 2 more videos using Veeam Backup and Replication with Netapp Snapmirror replication for Disaster Recovery, and also using Veeam Backup and Replication with Netapp Snapvault to provide offsite backups. These 2 video are coming soon
