This tutorial will guide you through deploying a Thinapp application to Vmware View. If you haven’t already packaged an application using Thinapp please see my tutorial creating a vmware thinapp. If you have already packaged a thinapp application you must assign the MSI package to Vmware View, not the actual .exe file that is produced from Thinapp. In my creatng a vmware thinapp tutorial I run through the steps of creating both a thinapp and msi package.

This week i’ve added in cli commands for Netapp SnapMirror setup and admin. I’ve also just completed a tutorial on creating a Vmware Thinapp Package on Windows 7. This tutorial guides you through packaging Firefox 4 as a Thinapp.

This tutorial will guide you through how to install Vmware Thinapp Packager, in which after we will package Firefox 4 into a Thinapp Package. This tutorial is performed on a baseline or SOE desktop image of Windows 7. Firstly create a base line snapshot so that you can revert to this snapshot at the end of this tutorial.
Note: I will be using VMware-ThinApp-Enterprise-4.6.1-361923.exe in this tutorial
