I’ve just finished creating two new Check Point R75 Tutorials. The tutorials walk you through installing and setting up Check Point’s Application Control and Identity Awareness.

I’ve just completed this tutorial on creating basic rules within Check Point Smart Dashboard. We will run through creating a network object, adding NAT to it, adding a rule to allow our network object access to the external network. We will then create an object for a windows server that will allow us to PAT remote dekstop through to it. We will verify our rules in SmartView Tracker by viewing the allowed traffic.
